The Seventh Street Bridge, aka "The Lion Bridge," is seen in various books and on many postcards. It is a landmark even used in a film ("Dead Man on Campus"), and unique for the large lions on both sides of each entrance to the bridge. At one time, this bridge carried the highway traffic through Modesto from Highway 99. The traffic turned right at I Street and left on Front (or 9th Street) after passing through the Arch. | ||
